Can I read it?

If you know the song, you’re already halfway there

Familiar songs make the cards easy to feel your way into, so it’s friendly for beginners. For experienced readers it adds a new way in: start a reading with one card, hear its song, and get the vibe before you lay out anything else.

The 170-page guidebook gives each card’s meaning and its musical connection. Prefer bigger print? There’s a 6 x 9 hardcover edition of the guidebook too.

Is it thoughtfully made?

Built from her paintings, one song at a time

Each Witchy Woman card begins with one of Joline’s abstract paintings, the same paintings in the Empathic Mirror. Its colors set the palette and it frames the card top and bottom; then she builds the image around the song with her photographs, drawing and painting.

Her art palette + her photograph = the deck art.

What does it feel like?

Gold on the back, orange on the edges

Each card has a gold foiled back, the design the Kickstarter backers voted for, and orange matte edges. The cards are 350 gsm, in oracle size (3.5 x 5 inches).

They live in a magnetic keepsake box.

Would it make a nice gift?

For the friend who can name the song in three notes. It comes in a keepsake box, ready to give.

Will it work with my deck?

A song to clarify your tarot

Lay out your usual tarot spread, then pull a Witchy Woman card where a reading feels flat. The song brings back the feeling, and the feeling clarifies the card.

It shares its paintings with the Empathic Mirror, so the two sit beautifully side by side.
