Calypso Star is the indie tarot and oracle deck publishing line of artist Joline Renn. We design and publish artist-designed tarot and oracle decks and their guidebooks, and we ship them from the United States.
Every Calypso Star card is designed by Joline Renn. The media vary across the catalogue - oils on canvas, hand-drawn digital, mixed media, and on some decks AI-assisted imagery - and every deck is curated, edited, and refined by the artist into one visual world. Which is which is stated on each deck's own page, so you always know what you are buying. The Empathic Mirror and the Calypso Star Lenormand are hand drawn and hand painted throughout, with no AI. The Lenormand leans into the Calypso and Odysseus chapters of the Odyssey - the gods as the court cards, the raft, the tide, the whirlpool.
Calypso Star is a deck publisher. We make and sell tarot and oracle decks and guidebooks. We don't offer personal readings, spiritual services, or "block/unblock" sessions - if you've seen a tarot reader going by a similar name online, that's a different person, not us. We're the decks.
